Brand NEW definition for "Petty" ?

The pundits who lambasted Hillary for her commments have gone one step further w/ Obama ? He publicly claimed his grandfather was among American Forces that liberated Auschwitz at the end of WW II.
This wonderful alert, meaningful, press punditry-professional corps of reorters hasten to point out that Auschwitz was liberated ENTIRELY by the Red Army !!

Grampa Obama had to settle for Buchenwald !!!!

I am positive that Granpa was severely dissappointed that only 56,000 had been put to death there instead of the more g(l)orious 1.000,000 who died at Auschwitz !
He was so overcome with that discrepancy that he hid in the attic at home for over 6 months !!
Poor guy ! This is of course if you can rely on the accuracy of this press corps(they gotta be bored outta their shorts by now!!)I really wonder if Gramdpa Obama knew this would be fodder for a presidential primary campaign one day ?Had he known that my guess is he most certainly would have resigned the US Army/joined RedArmy!
OOPS ! don’t tell the press I made a mistake it was Great Uncle not Grandpa !
Auschwitz/Buchenwald ? Daß Unterschied ? Tot ist Tot ! und schrecklich auch.

Here’s my copy and pasted answer for your copy and pasted question:

Oh yes, it’s the bad ol’ media at it again. That must be why Hillary is trailing miserably.
I think YOU are being petty.

All Hope Is Gone question for all the maggots…?

Obviously Slipknot’s new album All Hope is Gone is freakin awesome and once again eats the world alive. But is anyone else out there waiting for Slipknot to bring back some of the old stuff? I love how they’re getting so much heavier, but they’re also changing their sound into a calmer rock tone. Personally, I would like another IOWA. I had the idea of taking the heaviness and maturity and just all around soul of All Hope is Gone and injecting it into songs like (sic), Eyeless and Liberate. I would really appreciate anyone else’s opinion on where Slipknot needs to go next. Thank you all…Stay (sic)

hahaha dudeee i totally agree! what do u think about Duality?

Have you ever shed tears of thankfulness?(spiritually speaking of course)?

for my non Indian friends..the lyrics mean- why did not i trust you; why i was away from you..this kept tormenting me -only you have given me refuge

what kind of pain is this, what kind of punishment.. how come today I have remembered you? anxious are my day and nights..tell me what to do..my feet are my shackles.. liberate myself from me

the one inside me says i want to repay your debt;my eyes are wet,my breath hurts, my wounds refreshed..in the wildreness of my heart and in my story its only you who lived every moment
sorry -its ‘this life’ and not ‘this’
the main line of the song means- you and i are related since always

For full song see this one..the one above isnt as good
why r u surprised Ranger? he is referring to his relationship with God

many times i have shed tears before god when i realized that he has given me so much which i do not deserve.luv, sw. maa

Does this have anything to do with illiteracy? I am horrible at reading between the lines with poetry and lyrics.

Don’t be sad, keep smiling, leave this open to communicate
Lying there on the desk you left a letter, when I touched it, it shivered in my hand
I rub the surface to see your face in the mirror, translation lost me in a crowded room
Leave exposed the wounded, look down kids it starts to decompose
Looking for some meaning or recognition and your eyes are as blank as my hidden heart
I rub the surface to see your trace in the mirror, translation lost me in a crowded room
If you want to believe everything you say, it keeps you high and in control
What I can’t understand is why you would want to give the impression of a young lost soul
In the end you lack a stance on important subjects that you’ve lost, it’s like you’re out of control
Then you turn round, my head cracks like it’s for the millionth time again (Liberate the illiterate)
And you wanted to jump half a canyon, I’m at least a companion to it all (Liberate the illiterate)

Yes it has stated that in the last 2 lines.
Try to put yourself into the poem by touching the letter on the desk and feeling the shiver.
Imagine looking in a mirror and seeing what is described..
see if that helps you understand what is being written.

I think it is not the easiest writing to follow along, it leave a bit to be desired in leading the reader.

who can name a war that was fought solely to liberate an oppressed people from a despot?

Posted by admin on September 30th, 2009 and filed under liberate | 9 Comments »

with no self- or mutual-defense interests involved?

When has any nation ever altruistically marched off to war to liberate the downtrodden masses of another nation, at the expense of its own citizens?
lillian–Germany and Italy declared war on the US on 11 December, 1941. Therefore our entry into the European theater was actually in self-defense.
waylon–see above. We commenced hostilitiea against Germany and Italy only AFTER those two nations made declarations of war against the USA.

It it has happened, it is clearly a very recent phenomenon in world history. However, the only two I can think of that even come close are Bosnia and Somalia.

I need to see if someone can dispute/verify this physics/chemistry statement I found in an old book?

Posted by admin on September 28th, 2009 and filed under liberate definition | 3 Comments »

There’s apparently this book called the Urantia Book. A lot of people claim it’s revelatory and has proven many scientific things before they came to pass…One thing has me skeptical though:

Please read the following statement (by the way Ovronton is supposedly the name of our universe as the book describes it):

"In Orvonton it has never been possible naturally to assemble over one hundred orbital electrons in one atomic system. When one hundred and one have been artificially introduced into the orbital field, the result has always been the instantaneous disruption of the central proton with the wild dispersion of the electrons and other liberated energies."

Now I know that some "elements" above 100 are more stable than some of the elements below 100 (ex: radioactive elements below 100). But, I am wondering if perhaps I am misreading this? The book had this information composed in 1934…so I am not sure what the definition of an atomic system is/was in 1934…can someone help me?
Please provide specifics on what actually happens if electrons were artificially added…does the central proton get disrupted? I don’t want nonsense answers saying the book is hocus pocus. I could care less what you feel or think the book is. I’m personally skeptical but I do think the UB is a pretty interesting piece of work regardless of its authorship. When you compose your answer, I want to know the science – does it check out or not? Read the question carefully. I don’t want to deal with assumptions or lazy logic.

1934? That was a long long time ago!

The basic problem is not the electrons on the outside, but the stability of the nucleus. Last I heard about it, there was some speculation that there could be an "island of stability" for values of Z (= number of protons) ~ 137; but I’m pretty sure that is only speculation.

I see something from CERN in 1999 that suggests that the Russians created a nucleus with Z = 114 and A = 289, with a lifetime of a few seconds. The decay of 114 proceeds by alpha decay and not affected in any way by electrons on the outside.

So I don’t think this book is going to provide much useful guidance.

What do you think is the #1 best Disturbed song?

Posted by admin on September 28th, 2009 and filed under liberate album | 18 Comments »

Hands down it’s Down with the Sickness!!
The song just completely rocks! :D
Love the pure all out rock and awesome lyrics and vocals by David Draiman! :D

I was just listening to it a second ago, so I had to ask this awesome question! :D

Also Hands down, I love it that the song is in the movies Queen of the Da*mned, and also The One with Jet Li! :D

Hands down the album The Sickness is the gem and hands down the best album ever! But also Ten Thousand Fists is also my top absolute favorite!

My top favorite songs, and in no random order are:
Down with the Sickness
Stricken
Land of Confusion
Stupify
Liberate
Guarded
The Game

I also can’t absolutely wait until the new 2008 album comes out! :D

LOL, I have LOVED these guys since they first came out! And I’m probably old enough to be their mom. Well… if I had them very young, lol! But these guys are BADass, fierce, & SO hot! Makes me feel 20 again. And I have to say you have great taste, I agree with your list but you forgot Diefy?

What is the meaning of the song Wake as a Gun by Porcupine Tree (1st part)?

Posted by admin on September 28th, 2009 and filed under liberate lyric | 2 Comments »

Wake as a Gun is a really neat song, and I really like it. The lyrics are kind of abstract and make sense at the same time. Am I just hearing the wrong lyrics or something?

A man wakes up, has animal
Hallucinates a fire
A man wakes up, has a ghost
Bloodless yet inspired

Man wakes up, has music
Liberates the calm
Man wakes up, has a child
And builds a bridge of charm

The silence you keep,
But I just want to sleep
Man wakes up, has a gun
Doesn’t get the joke

Help me if you can. Lyric interpretations aren’t a specialty of mine.

The lyrics are actually:

Man wakes up as animal
Hallucinates a fire
Man wakes up as as ghost
Bloodless but inspired

Man wakes up as music
And liberates the calm
Man wakes up as a child
And builds a bridge of charm

And the silence you keep
And I just wanna sleep
Still waiting

Man wakes up as a gun
And doesn’t get the joke

I’m also having huge problems interpreting it…. Steven Wilson’s lyrics are generally very abstract and I’m never sure if I’m getting the meaning right. This is my interpretation, and it can be COMPLETELY off. I always thought it was about the nature of things. Man’s evolution from animal to human with the use of fire to separate them from animals, ghost are bloodless, but have a cause. Music breaks the silence and children are innocence and charm. And the last lines, I always though the "joke" was that humans created the gun, the very thing that can end their lives.

This is all a guess and I can be very very wrong, I’m going to star to see in conie gets this.
