I’ve deleted everything and deactivated my account on facebook. It feels like an enormous weight has been lifted of my shoulders, I feel changed!
Facebook should be renamed falsebook, fakebook, bragbook or something to that nature, because that is exactly what it is. Sometimes I think people are writing a biography because they seem compelled to mention every single aspect of their lives, telling you that they’ve got out of the bath, they’re going downstairs, they’re eating a sandwich. I couldn’t care less what they’re up to.
I hated how people take pictures of every single little thing, even a bus station, why? When I go out, I don’t walk around with a camera documenting every place I visit. Some people even upload photos of their house and tell people where they live, isn’t that a private issue? They’re were also people who would go on holidays around the world, and upload photo albums of their wealth, which upset me, what with the recession and all. Not to mention people having conversations with their partners which should remain private, right? I also added some friends, who thought I was ignoring them just because I wasn’t talking every 5 seconds on facebook. People are adding endless lists of friends, many of which you don’t know they’re second name, probably never even met. Think about your 300 or so friends, how many do you actually talk to? I even sat on a bus with someone who was a friend on facebook, yet on the bus, we did’nt even speak in real life.
I haven’t been in high school for a while and that is the way it started feeling to me like some popularity contest. Not to mention sending people worthless cocktails, pokes and superpokes, or watering plants on Farmville, when I’ve got plants in real life that need watering!
It’s just a TON of time wasted on what essentially amounts to nothing. I can’t believe i was so foolish to be a memeber in first place. I feel like a new person, now I’ve deactivated my account. I have found it’s much nicer to talk to people in person. Even if I go to the store, library, etc. talking with real people is actually kind of fun.
Now I’ve deleted my Facebook account, I reckon my life enjoyment is defiantly going to increase!!!

Good for you. It seems that nobody has a private life anymore. Innocent people get hurt and everybody knows everybody else’s bussiness. If I want to know something about a person. I simply pick up the phone and call them. People can be so mean and hurtful. Don’t you think?

When Rihanna has no pants on on the cover of her album, she is artistic and liberated. When we post a Facebook profile pic with no pants on, we are a trashy ho.

I think it’s more a matter of "rich people can do anything and get away with it."

I have rejected it from an intellectual standpoint and from an emotional standpoint to a large degree, but still I partially define myself by fashion style. I watn to stop doing that but it’s tough to change your mindset. Any tips?
In the 1920′s true consumerism began with radio advertisements. In the 50′s consumerism went rampant with advertising. Advertising is the thing that creates the "Need" in people for convenience. I’d start by throwing away your TV or getting Tivo to avoid commercials, but avoiding consumerism as a whole in the United States is near impossible. As far as your mindset just throw away near everything in your closet that you would call your "fashion style." Then get a sewing kit and do it yourself! (Personally I love consumerism I don’t know why you would want to go all socialist)

Due to the large scale of the operations associated with invasions, they are usually strategic in planning and execution.
Then, why they want to use that term?. Is it used on purpose to create hostility against poor people who are coming to this country when they are not really invading? Is that term mostly used by supremacist groups when they want to create hate against certain groups?

its not an invasion when employers welcome them, when people hire them to cut grass, do their landscaping, watch their kids, clean their houses, fix their houses, flip their burgers, debone the chicken they buy in stores, fix their food at restaurants
