What are your thoughts on black abayas and black hijabs?

Also, if you don’t like abayas, do you think hijabis should be pressured into dressing fashionably?

I thought it was only Non-Muslim girls that are being pressured into fashion, and now it seems like the same thing is happening with Muslimahs, except now the hijab is the tool used as a fashion accessory. The hijab was given to liberate women from being judged by appearance, but now it seems as if even some Muslims have a problem with Muslimahs not dressing to impress their ideal standards on hijab fashion

For those who don’t know what an abaya is: – http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f110/the_top_trader/Jilbab_Abaya-Jalaba-Women-Clothing-Islam/black-pixel-jilbab-abaya.jpg

Black is my fav color

Majority of my abayas and hijabs are black.
I like to keep it simple, I’m not into all the fashion rubbish, and totally against it

( : Do you think they are compatible? : )?

Hi. I have these friends. The boy is 18 and he has a best friend who is 16. I think there is already somthing between them but they always say that they are just best friends even though some people already tease them that they are already seeming like they are not just "friends".

They are both funny, and are smart in different ways. The girl is artistic and very talented, but the boy is not. The boy is athletic and the girl isn’t. The girl is academically excellent in school, and the boy is just average. The girl is very fashionista, but the boy doesn’t care about clothing styles. The girl is conservative but the boy is liberated. They can also be the same in some ways: like joking around, being both talkative, loves music, films, and internet, likes history and many things. But they are also opposite in some ways, llike i mentioned.

So do you think they are good for each other or no?

The girl:

The boy (the one at the left):

Thanks! I am hoping for good answers! Bye! : )

Sure they are compatible.Because both are complement to each other .

I’ve finally got rid of my facebook account and my god, it feels so liberating!?

Posted by admin on May 19th, 2010 and filed under liberate album | 7 Comments »

I’ve deleted everything and deactivated my account on facebook. It feels like an enormous weight has been lifted of my shoulders, I feel changed!
Facebook should be renamed falsebook, fakebook, bragbook or something to that nature, because that is exactly what it is. Sometimes I think people are writing a biography because they seem compelled to mention every single aspect of their lives, telling you that they’ve got out of the bath, they’re going downstairs, they’re eating a sandwich. I couldn’t care less what they’re up to.
I hated how people take pictures of every single little thing, even a bus station, why? When I go out, I don’t walk around with a camera documenting every place I visit. Some people even upload photos of their house and tell people where they live, isn’t that a private issue? They’re were also people who would go on holidays around the world, and upload photo albums of their wealth, which upset me, what with the recession and all. Not to mention people having conversations with their partners which should remain private, right? I also added some friends, who thought I was ignoring them just because I wasn’t talking every 5 seconds on facebook. People are adding endless lists of friends, many of which you don’t know they’re second name, probably never even met. Think about your 300 or so friends, how many do you actually talk to? I even sat on a bus with someone who was a friend on facebook, yet on the bus, we did’nt even speak in real life.
I haven’t been in high school for a while and that is the way it started feeling to me like some popularity contest. Not to mention sending people worthless cocktails, pokes and superpokes, or watering plants on Farmville, when I’ve got plants in real life that need watering!

It’s just a TON of time wasted on what essentially amounts to nothing. I can’t believe i was so foolish to be a memeber in first place. I feel like a new person, now I’ve deactivated my account. I have found it’s much nicer to talk to people in person. Even if I go to the store, library, etc. talking with real people is actually kind of fun.
Now I’ve deleted my Facebook account, I reckon my life enjoyment is defiantly going to increase!!!

Your thoughts and views?

wow!
that’s so cool and seems totally impossible to do!
